Francis Mercier

Francis Mercier, is an international DJ born in New York City and raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. His diverse background, in combination with his Ivy League education at Brown University, have greatly influenced and informed the evolution of his style, for which he has become renowned.

A mathematician by trade, he could be solving scientific problems and modeling algorithms but he chose to formulate music. Spinning and producing a mix of future house, merging deep and big room sounds Francis is on a vengeance to solve the world’s hunger for original music. His unparalleled flair, originality and presence have gained him access to some of the most coveted stages in his hometown of New York City, including Marquee, Webster Hall, LAVO and Highline Ballroom. When he is not pleasing the demanding NYC crowds, Francis headlines events in Europe and across the US.

Over the past six years of his disc-jockeying career Francis has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in Dance Music such as Afrojack, Nicky Romero, Nicolas Jaar, The Chainsmokers, Pierce Fulton, Michael Brun, and Jus Jack just to name a few. His most recent single ‘Waiting For’ reached the top of the Beatport charts peaking at #5 on Beatport’s deep house charts this past November 2014. His remixes and original tracks have been supported by world renewed artists such as Oliver Heldens of Tiesto‘s Label Musical Freedom. Francis is also continuously receiving praises and accolades from A-List clientele (Macklemore, Kid Cudi, Swizz Beats, Derek Jeter, Pamela Anderson) for whom he disk-jockeys on the regular. Some of his other distinguishing clients include MTV, Vanity Fair, Esquire Magazine, Playboy, World Fashion TV and many more.

If you haven’t had a chance to be enthralled by one of Francis Mercier’s performances, worry not; Francis is launching a winter 2014/2015 European and South American tour beginning in Germany and ending in Brazil.
